With the approval of the 2023 Budget the leadership team at the Town of Caledon under the direction of Chief Administrative Officer Carey Herd, continues to move forward with improvements to enhance organizational excellence. March 6, 2023 – Town of Caledon is seeing an increase in situations where roads and customer service staff are being harassed, abused and assaulted while working. This weekend there were multiple incidents, in one case the OPP was contacted.

March 3, 2023 – The Town of Caledon has successfully prosecuted illegal trucking operator, 12501058 Canada Inc., resulting in a $45,000 fine and a prohibition order.
On February 16, 2023, after another attempt to delay the hearing was denied, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice heard the trial. In exchange for a guilty plea, the prosecution offered a reduced charge of $25,000. February 24, 2023 – Caledon Fire and Emergency Services is partnering with Age-Friendly Caledon to ensure older adults are living in a fire-safe environment and are prepared in the event of a fire.
