Caledon’s Housing Pledge

Today, Council unanimously approved Caledon’s Housing Pledge that outlines how the Town will meet its housing target of 13,000 residential units by 2031 as set by the Province, and the support it will need to achieve it. 

The pledge asks the Province to work with the Town to understand the impacts and investments needed to grow in a sustainable and affordable way.

March 17, 2023 – Caledon’s Municipal Law Enforcement division is following up on reports of dead geese in a storm water pond in Bolton. It is recommended residents start taking some precautions for presumed Avian Influenza (bird flu) while specimens are being tested at the Canadian Wildlife Health Cooperative (CWHC).

March 9, 2023 – Clocks will spring forward one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 12 and Caledon Fire and Emergency Services is recommending residents Check the Power when they Change the Hour.

Take the opportunity on Sunday to check all smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. All alarms need to be replaced after 10 years, even those hardwired into your home. Check the expiry date, install new batteries, and push the test button to make sure they are working.
