Proposed 2024 Budget presented at General Committee

Town of Caledon staff presented the proposed 2024 Budget at General Committee this week. The Town’s proposed property tax increase is 3.50 per cent on the 2024 property tax bill.
Work in the proposed budget is directly linked to the Town’s 2023-2035 Strategic Plan. The plan, which has a 12 year-outlook, sets out specific actions that Caledon will strive to deliver by 2026 under four priorities.

Town of Caledon receives second platinum certification from World Council on City Data

CALEDON, ON (January 10, 2024) – The Town of Caledon has received its second platinum certification from the World Council on City Data (WCCD) for the implementation of ISO 37120 (Indicators for Sustainable Cities) standards.
