May 17, 2023 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon Fire and Emergency Services department welcomed 11 new volunteer firefighters to the team at a graduation ceremony held this evening at Station 302 in Bolton.

March 9, 2023 – Clocks will spring forward one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 12 and Caledon Fire and Emergency Services is recommending residents Check the Power when they Change the Hour.

Take the opportunity on Sunday to check all smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. All alarms need to be replaced after 10 years, even those hardwired into your home. Check the expiry date, install new batteries, and push the test button to make sure they are working.

November 14, 2022 – The Town of Caledon Fire & Emergency Services is once again teaming up with Caledon Community Services (CCS) to support the ‘Season of Hope’ program, previously known as the Santa Fund. October 5, 2022 – The Caledon Fire and Emergency Services encourages all residents to participate in this year’s Fire Prevention WeekTM.  from October 9-15, 2022 by creating a fire escape plan. The theme is “Fire won’t wait. Plan Your Escape.”

Today’s homes burn faster than ever. You may have as little as two minutes to safely escape a home fire from the time the smoke alarm sounds. Your ability to get out of a home during a fire depends on early warning from smoke alarms and advance planning.

September 20, 2022 – The Town of Caledon Fire and Emergency Services department is growing its team by launching a recruitment drive to hire more volunteer firefighters.

These volunteer firefighters will respond to both emergencies and non-emergencies, including fires; medical emergencies; vehicle collisions and more.
