Participate Virtually

Members of the public are welcome to participate via telephone or video conference through WebEx upon request. In addition, members of the public can watch meetings through the live stream available on the Town's website.

Proposed Changes

To amend the Zoning By-law for the subject lands to broaden and enhance the uses permitted on the Brampton Fairgrounds, including but not limited to, concerts, entertainment, festivals and events, a variety of recreational, cultural, and community service activities and banquets. The proposed amendment will also identify appropriate zone standards for the permitted uses, including but not limited to, parking standards.

Appeal Procedure

If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Council of the Town of Caledon to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Clerk of the Town of Caledon before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Clerk of the Town of Caledon before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
