Fire Safety Continues as Daylight Savings Time Ends This Weekend

With the end of Daylight Saving Time on Sunday, November 7, residents are reminded that as clocks turn back by one hour, smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms should also be tested. If necessary, replace the batteries or the entire unit. All alarms regardless if they are powered by electricity or battery should be replaced after 10 years.

The Town of Caledon has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to look into improvements to Winston Churchill Boulevard between Beechgrove Sideroad and Caledon East Garafraxa Townline.

Fire Prevention Week (October 3-9) focuses on learning the sounds of fire safety and how you can take small but important steps to keep yourself and your family safe.
