The Town of Caledon is developing a Site Alteration By-law as part of Caledon’s Housing Action Plan, reflecting our commitment to expediting post-approval development processes.  

Proposed changes are being made in alignment with Caledon’s Housing Accelerator Fund (HAF) agreement.

Facility Hours Change

Attention: On Friday, July 4, 2025 the Albion Bolton Community Centre and the Caledon Centre for Recreation & Wellness will be open from 7 a.m. to 10:45 p.m.

This change in operating hours is due to regional fibre optic updates being done in the Bolton area which will cause network/power outages.

The drop-in Fitness Swim from 6-6:55 a.m. on this day has been cancelled.

Dominion Street Bridge Rehabilitation, Brimstone

As part of RFT 2025-059 Dominion Street Bridge Rehabilitation, Dominion Street will be limited to local traffic only the duration of the project from Forks of the Credit Road. As you may be aware, there was an oil spill last week at one of our stormwater ponds in Bolton near Coleraine Drive and George Bolton Parkway.   

Our  staff have been working with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Peel Spills and Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks to assess the area and contain the spill.  The site is secure and remediation efforts are underway.
