The Town of Caledon offers a hybrid meeting model with multiple ways for members of the public to

How to Attend
  1. Attend In-Person: Members of the public may attend a meeting in-person and provide verbal comments
    regarding the proposed application(s) or sit in the gallery to watch the meeting. Although registration is not
    mandatory, members of the public are encouraged to complete the Participation Request Form
  2. Virtually: Members of the public are welcome to participate via telephone or video conference through
    WebEx upon request. For more information on how to participate, please complete the Participation
    Request Form. In addition, members of the public can watch meetings through the live stream available on the Town's website.

Proposed changes

 The applicant has applied for a Zoning By-law Amendment (Lifting of Holding Symbol (“H”)) to remove the Holding Symbol (“H25”, “H26”, and “H27”) on the subject lands for lands zoned Residential One Exception 643 – Holding 25 Zone (R1-643-H25), Residential Townhouse Exception 646 – Holding 26 Zone (RT-646-H26), and Residential One Exception 645 – Oak Ridges Moraine – Holding 27 Zone (R1-645-ORM-H27) by Zoning By-law 2006-50, as amended. Removal of the Holding Symbols (“H25”, “H26”, and “H27”) will allow residential uses on these lands subject to Town approvals.

Appeal Procedure

Under Section 36(3) of the Planning Act, only the applicant has appeal rights with respect to the removal of a Holding (H) symbol. There are no third-party rights to appeal the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment.
