Canada HomeShare Pilot - Currently on Hold
Partnering with The Canada HomeShare Program, and the Region of Peel, the Peel HomeShare Pilot Program is accepting applications. They are expecting approx twenty matches between older residents and students throughout Caledon, Brampton and Mississauga for this pilot.
As an intergenerational initiative, HomeShare programs are built on the principles of social exchange and are more than a way to share a room. It is a program designed to empower older adults to successfully age-in-place for as long as possible and remain engaged in their communities while providing safe and affordable housing options for students.
