About 

The Town of Caledon has developed a Sustainable Neighbourhood Retrofit Action Plan (SNAP) for the neighbourhood of West Bolton. This initiative is a partnership with the Toronto & Region Conservation Authority and the Region of Peel and is one of six SNAPs happening in the Greater Toronto Area.

SNAP focusses on addressing municipal priorities and neighbourhood revitalization interests across a range of theme areas, including:

  • Lot-level storm water management
  • Home energy and water conservation
  • Rehabilitation of local streams
  • Community cohesion
  • Health and well-being
  • Improvement of urban forests, natural areas and parks
  • Active transportation such as walking and cycling
  • Green home landscaping
