Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan

The Town of Caledon has developed a Sustainable Neighbourhood Retrofit Action Plan (SNAP) for the neighbourhood of West Bolton. This initiative is a partnership with the Toronto & Region Conservation Authorityand the Region of Peel and is one of six SNAPs happening in the Greater Toronto Area. 

Focus

SNAP focusses on addressing municipal priorities and neighbourhood revitalization interests across a range of theme areas, including:

  • Lot-level storm water management
  • Home energy and water conservation
  • Rehabilitation of local streams
  • Community cohesion
  • Health and well-being
  • Improvement of urban forests, natural areas and parks
  • Active transportation such as walking and cycling
  • Green home landscaping

Home Energy Retrofit Program

Do you live in West Bolton? If so, the SNAP can help you reduce your utility bills and environmental footprint through the Home Energy Retrofit Program. If you participate, you can get free energy conservation products from Enbridge Gas and Hydro One. You also have a chance to win a free home energy audit ($600 value).
