About 

The Town of Caledon has developed a Sustainable Neighbourhood Retrofit Action Plan (SNAP) for the neighbourhood of West Bolton. This initiative is a partnership with the Toronto & Region Conservation Authorityand the Region of Peel and is one of six SNAPs happening in the Greater Toronto Area.

SNAP focusses on addressing municipal priorities and neighbourhood revitalization interests across a range of theme areas, including:

  • Lot-level storm water management
  • Home energy and water conservation
  • Rehabilitation of local streams
  • Community cohesion
  • Health and well-being
  • Improvement of urban forests, natural areas and parks
  • Active transportation such as walking and cycling
  • Green home landscaping
