Town of Caledon 2025 Good Friday & Easter Monday Closures
CALEDON, ON (April 16, 2025) – All Town offices will be closed on Friday, April 18. Town Hall will reopen on Monday, April 21, however other municipal services will vary depending on location.
Provincial Offences Courts
Provincial Offences Courts in Orangeville and Caledon East will be closed on Friday, April 18 and Monday, April 21, reopening on Tuesday, April 22.
Animal Services
The Animal Shelter will be closed on Friday, April 18, and open for usual hours beginning Saturday, April 19.
Library Closures
All libraries will be closed Friday, April 18, Sunday, April 20 and Monday, April 21. All library branches will be open Saturday, April 19, following their regular hours of operation.
Recreation Caledon
All recreation facilities will be closed on Friday, April 18 and Sunday, April 20. Select facilities will be open for the 2025 federal election advanced polls.

After-hours Emergencies
For after-hours emergencies such as downed trees on roads or flooding, call the Peel Region at 1-800-563-7881.
To report an urgent issue about a stray domestic animal (certain conditions apply) or a sick and/or injured animal, call the Town’s after-hours service at 1-800-563-7881.
For power outages or to report downed wires, call Hydro One at 1-800-434-1235. To view the status of power outages, view the outage map.
The non-emergency number for the Caledon Ontario Provincial Police is 1-888-310-1122.
If the emergency is life-threatening, call 9-1-1.
After-hours Non-emergencies
Municipal Law enforcement has increased its level of service with after-hours support. To reach a bylaw officer evenings and weekends you can dial 3-1-1 and choose option 3. Please be advised capacity will be limited but all inquiries will be captured and addressed in order of priority.
