Media Statement: Fatal collision at Mayfield Road and Goreway Drive

October 20, 2023 - This morning, the Town of Caledon was made aware of a fatal, three-vehicle collision on Mayfield Road near Goreway Drive involving two commercial vehicles and one passenger vehicle.

On behalf of Council, Town Staff and all Caledon residents, I offer our heartfelt condolences to the families affected by today’s tragedy.

This matter falls under OPP jurisdiction and the Town is cooperating with them in their investigation. Due to the sensitivity of this topic, a limited amount of information is available at this time. The Town will share more information when available.
