Help design our new skate park in Southfields Village

January 17, 2024 – The Town of Caledon is looking for residents to get involved and have their say in the design and features of a new skate park in Southfields Village. Located on the Southfields Community Centre property, the Southfields skate park is scheduled to be built in spring/summer 2024, but before shovels can enter the ground, we want your feedback!

Residents, especially those that enjoy skateboarding, BMX-riding, inline/roller skating and scootering, are encouraged to visit Have Your Say, Caledon and take part in our Southfields Skate Park Survey. Tell us what you’d like to see in your new skate park by rating a number of optional designs and features.

“We are thrilled to be entering the design phase of this exciting new skate park in our Southfields Village community,” said Mayor Annette Groves. “I encourage our residents to get involved and have your say. Help us design this new amenity to help residents stay active.”

The Southfields skate park exemplifies the Town's ongoing commitment to enhancing community vitality and livability, which stands as a crucial focus within the Council's strategic plan. This project, like numerous others, is shaped by the input from residents, reinforcing the Town's dedication to fostering a healthy, caring, engaged, and inclusive community through the creation of a new outdoor space.
