Official Plan Amendment Humber Station Village Lands

Tuesday October 10 at 9:30 a.m. Council held a special meeting and approved an amendment to the Town’s Official Plan to bring lands, into the Bolton Rural Service Centre, ahead of the overall Future Caledon Official Plan Review. The lands bounded by Healey Road, Humber Station Road, Mayfield Road and the current Bolton Rural Service Centre boundary were designated as New Employment Area and Highway 413 Transportation Corridor.

The amendment officially adds the lands to the urban area for employment purposes to be followed by detailed secondary planning (which is underway). This provides a planning framework for the lands as employment uses, with necessary transportation and infrastructure.
