August 9, 2024 (CALEDON, ON) – In mid-July, Caledon welcomed 35 soccer teams from across Ontario to the Caledon East Community Complex fields for the Caledon Football Club’s first annual Heart of Caledon soccer tournament. Six Caledon teams competed against teams from Niagara Falls, Aurora, Muskoka, Acton, Collingwood, Burlington, Ottawa, Windsor, Simcoe, Erin Mills, Toronto, Puslinch, and Milton. 

Over 400 players and their families visited Caledon for the tournament.

Passing of By-law 2024-067

Heritage Designation

 The Town of Caledon has passed By-law 2024-067 to designate 13940 Airport Road as being of cultural heritage value or interest under Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act.
