Caledon businesses win tourism awards

Caledon based businesses won big at the annual Headwaters Tourism Awards held at the Orangeville Town Hall Opera House on January 16th, 2018.
Headwaters Tourism recognized the Caledon based Millcroft Inn, Alabaster Acres, Credit Valley Conservation and Mud Hero Toronto North at its annual awards night.

Demolition: Master's House

The Town of Caledon has agreed with the application to demolish, subject to conditions, the building on the following property designated under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, Chapter O.18, Section 29:

Statement on the passing of Councillor Jim Tovey

On behalf of the Town of Caledon, Mayor Allan Thompson today paid tribute to the memory of Mississauga and Region of Peel Councillor Jim Tovey, who passed away suddenly January 15, 2018.
“Jim Tovey valued and respected staff at the City and the Region,” Mayor Thompson said, “He loved collaboration and being a part of something bigger than himself. Mississauga has lost a champion and Caledon has lost a friend.”
The City of Mississauga will lower flags to half-mast and a book of condolences...
