The Town of Caledon to host Environmental Commissioner of Ontario, Dr. Dianne Saxe

The Town of Caledon will host a lunch and learn with the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario (ECO), Dr. Dianne Saxe, who will discuss Ontario’s environmental performance and progress towards climate change action. Town staff will also provide an update on the Town’s Climate Change activities as it moves forward on updating its Community Climate Change Action Plan.

Caledon presents first ever Accessibility Award for Business

The Town of Caledon today presented its inaugural Accessibility Award for Business to KeyKeeper, a manufacturer of secure night drop boxes and key drop boxes located in Bolton.

Lina Marino Parking Lot Resurfacing

The Town of Caledon Community Services has contracted parking lot resurfacing work at Lina Marino Park, located in Valleywood.

Work includes the removal of the existing asphalt surfacing and the installation of a new asphalt parking lot. The parking lot will be closed during construction.

The parking lot closure for this work will be effective as of:

with an anticipated completion date of Friday, June 1, 2018.

Tourism Week highlights the best of Caledon

The Town of Caledon marked the beginning of Tourism Week (May 27 to June 2, 2018) with a flag-raising ceremony at Town Hall on Monday, May 28, 2018.

“Tourism is an increasingly important part of our local economy,” said Mayor Allan Thompson.  “Tourism Week is a good opportunity to showcase the people and the places that make Caledon a distinctive destination.”
