The Town of Caledon welcomes Amazon to our growing business community.

“We are thrilled to have Amazon join Caledon’s corporate family," said Mayor Allan Thompson. "A priority this term of Council was to help secure companies that will provide good paying, long term, stable jobs and contribute to the well-being of our community as good corporate citizens. We believe Amazon will do just that.”

Amazon is the first corporation to confirm their plans for locating in the planned industrial area west of Coleraine Drive.

“This commitment by Amazon is the result of a determined effort by the Town to help bring these types of investments to Caledon,” said Mike Galloway, Chief Administrative Officer. “I want to congratulate Town staff, who have been working in a collaborative manner, across the organization, to remove barriers and create a positive environment for job creation.”

Amazon joins a growing list of corporations investing in Caledon in recent years.

In 2017 alone, Canadian Tire, Agrocrop Exports Ltd., and Mars Canada have added over 1.59 million ft2 (148,000 m2) of industrial space in Caledon, bringing over 1,100 jobs to our community.
