The Town of Caledon to host Environmental Commissioner of Ontario, Dr. Dianne Saxe

The Town of Caledon will host a lunch and learn with the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario (ECO), Dr. Dianne Saxe, who will discuss Ontario’s environmental performance and progress towards climate change action. Town staff will also provide an update on the Town’s Climate Change activities as it moves forward on updating its Community Climate Change Action Plan.

“We’re very excited and lucky to have Dr. Saxe spend some time with us, and I commend our Energy & Environment team for arranging this event,” said Mayor Allan Thompson. “I look forward to learning more about the science behind climate change and what can be done by local municipalities to help address it.”

A brief question and answer period will provide guests the opportunity to ask questions, and have their voice heard. The event is free, and community members are encouraged to attend.
