#CaledonCares: Unite the community by telling your COVID-19 stories of kindness

#CaledonCares

The Town of Caledon is putting out a call to residents to share their stories of community heroes and connections, whether big or small, on their social media channels using the hashtag #CaledonCares.

“COVID-19 has affected all of us immensely,” said Mayor Allan Thompson. “We are getting through it with help from our courageous frontline workers and the generosity of our neighbours, family and friends. "By sharing our #CaledonCares stories on social media we can further help support and inspire one another.”

Caledon businesses of all sizes have stepped up in creative ways, including retooling to make plastic guards for cashiers and making key donations to support our frontline workers. Residents are sewing homemade masks, making donations or simply sharing a message of hope through art.

How to share YOUR stories

To be part of the #CaledonCares campaign, post your story on your favourite social media platform, and use the hashtag #CaledonCares. If you tag @YourCaledon we will do our best to like and/or share your story, too.
