Business Opening: Caramel Cafe

Caramel Café, Bolton’s newest dessert destination, celebrated their grand opening with an event on December 20, we asked owner Ali Abdolrazzak to tell us a little about the business…

Tell us about your Café, and why you got into this business.

It’s always been a dream of my family to open a spot where people could enjoy the best of the best when it came to dessert. And I think we have done that here. My wife is from Montreal, she knows pastries and desserts, and we’re really focused on providing our customers the best.

We have a full menu of delicious sweet treats from crepes and waffles to ice cream and fondue, and a few savory lunch selections as well, which will be expanded next year.

Why locate in Bolton?

We don’t live here but we are very familiar with the area. It’s growing and didn’t have a specialized high quality desserts café, it’s a great opportunity.

What is your favourite thing on the menu?

My favorite is the waffles and crepes section, we make the batter in house, use fresh whip cream and only high grade Belgian chocolate on top, they're delicious! And of course we have Nutella and other toppings and amazing coffee too.

Anywhere in particular that you recommend in Bolton or Caledon?

I don’t have a particular place that I go to in Bolton, but I love the town, I used to come here a lot when I was younger, I love the people the car culture and the spirit.
