Exercise caution with bad weather approaching

With precipitation and falling temperatures forecast over the next several days, rain may freeze and cause slippery road conditions in some areas. Residents are reminded to:

  • Drive to conditions - Take care and drive according to road conditions.
  • Obey speed limits - Posted speed limits are not targets; they are maximums under good weather and good road conditions.
  • Walk carefully on sidewalks - Sidewalks may also become slippery. Pedestrians: please exercise caution.

Caledon launches “Celebrate Caledon”

From humble beginnings over 10 years ago the second weekend in June has grown to become “the weekend to be in Caledon.” Last year saw the launch of Cheers Caledon, a craft beer and cider festival that featured the best of home-grown producers such as Caledon Hills, Pommies and Spirit Tree. And Caledon Day was a smash hit with headline act Sloan thrilling hundreds and hundreds. In 2018 we are proud to announce the continued growth of our weekend lineup.

Town Presents 2017 Operating Budget Surplus

Today, the Town of Caledon highlighted key financial management accomplishments in 2017, as well took another step in being prepared for future community needs.

Town staff, through the Operating Budget Variance report, presented a surplus of $3,339,955 from the 2017 operating budget.
