The proposed Official Plan Amendment is intended to expand the Mayfield West Rural Service Centre, and redesignate the lands to Prestige Industrial, Special Policy Area, and Environmental Policy Area that will establish a policy framework for future employment uses and for the protection of natural features. |

The applicant is also proposing to rezone the lands from Agricultural (A1) and Environmental Policy Area Zone 2 (EPA 2) to site specific Prestige Industrial (MP) and Environmental Policy Area Zone 1 (EPA 1) zones that will create development standards for the development of the lands. |
