Property tax installment payments are due on the first Thursday of March, May, July and September.

  • First installment: Thursday, March 5, 2020
  • Second installment: Thursday, May 7, 2020
  • Third installment: Thursday, July 2, 2020
  • Final installment: Thursday, September 3, 2020

Property Assessment

The deadline to appeal your property assessment for 2019 taxes is March 31, 2019.

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) offers a free Request for Reconsideration process if you do not agree with your property assessment.  For more information, or to file an appeal, please visit or contact MPAC at 1.866.296.6722.

Tax Appeal adjustments are available for properties that undergo changes during the year such as a change in property class, property damaged by fire, demolition or a building that is undergoing repairs and renovations.  Please contact the tax office at 905.584.2272 x. 7750 for more information.

Please note that property tax bills should be paid as billed for any properties under appeal.
