Winter Parking Restrictions

Please help keep our streets safe and clear

Each winter, Town of Caledon crews clear snow on more than 1,500 kilometres of roads.

To help crews clear the roads as quickly as possible, the Town may issue a winter parking ban.

Typically this would happen if Environment Canada forecasts a snowfall of 7 centimetres or greater, or dangerous ice conditions.

During a winter parking ban:

  • Vehicles cannot be parked on Caledon roads.
  • Any previously granted parking passes are null and void.
  • Vehicles parked on town streets are subject to a fine and/or towed at the vehicle owner's expense.

When all roads are cleared and weather permits, the ban is lifted.
