Telecommunication Towers

Across Canada, all telecommunication facilities are regulated by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada. All proposed telecommunication facilities are required to first consult with the Town of Caledon. The Town’s role is to provide comments and advise Industry Canada of community concerns. In addition, the Town recommends either concurrence or non-concurrance to Industry Canada. The approval of all telecommunication facilities is with Industry Canada not the Town of Caledon.

The Town has received a number of applications for proposed Telecommunication Towers. A brief description of the proposals and their status are outlined below.
