Family Day Closures

February 10, 2021 -- On behalf of Mayor and Council and Town of Caledon staff, we wish you and your families an active, happy and healthy Family Day.  Be sure to check out for free COVID-19 safe activities as well as the many outdoor rinks available (see below).   

The following closures will be in effect for Monday, February 15, 2021: 

  • Town Hall: Closed  

  • All branches of the Caledon Public Library: Closed  

  • Fire & Emergency Services Administration Office (6211 Old Church Road): Closed 

  • The Provincial Offences Court at Caledon Town Hall: Closed 

  • The Provincial Offences Court at 55 Zina Street, Orangeville: Closed 

  • The Caledon Animal Shelter: Closed  

COVID-19 Testing Locations 

Please note: The Peel Public Health testing location at the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness which is normally scheduled for Mondays will be open on Family Day from 2 to 5 p.m. For more information visit   

Outdoor rinks 

For a safe, outdoor option for skating, residents are reminded that there are several outdoor rinks available.   Please note: COVID-19 protocols – including the wearing of masks – apply at all rinks.

After-hours Emergencies 

For after-hours emergencies such as downed trees on roads or flooding call the Region of Peel at 1.800.563.7881.  For power outages or to report downed wires, call Hydro One at 1-800-434-1235. View the real-time status of a power outage on their outage map

If the emergency is life-threatening, call 9-1-1.
