Caledon offering free activities in June for Recreation and Parks Month

May 31, 2023 (CALEDON, ON) – ‘Find your Fit’ in June! The Town of Caledon is offering free try-it fitness classes and a variety of other free activities, including use of outdoor amenities, throughout the month of June to promote the benefits of active living for all ages.

Stay active this month by taking advantage of free activities and classes such as: Robothink; Mini Yogis; Parent and Child Swimming; Volleyball; Youth Shinny; Adult Skating; Parent and Child Skating; Kickboxing; Pickleball; Aquafit; and more.

“June is Recreation and Parks Month, and we are encouraging all residents to try our free activities and see what fits their interests so they know when they register for a program, they’ll enjoy it,” said Jessica Stovin, Manager of Community Recreation. “Not only are these activities free to try in June, we also have many outdoor amenities throughout Caledon that are free to use. The nice weather is here, so we encourage everyone to go outside this month and get active!”

Free Outdoor Amenities:

  • Tennis courts at Ellwood Park and Victoria Parks.
  • Four Basketball courts.
  • Beach volleyball courts at Dick’s Dam Park.*
  • Dozens of beautiful parks.
  • Four splash pads.
  • Outdoor fitness equipment at North Hill Park.
  • Bolton Skate Park.
  • Kilometres of cycle routes and walking trails.
