Daily routines may remain restricted during this pandemic, and it may be difficult to find the motivation to exercise. Here are some tips on how to stay motivated and plan a home workout.

Tips on staying active during the pandemic:

  1. Create a home workout area. It doesn’t need to be big!
  2. Set up your equipment (dumbbells, music, mat, etc.).
  3. Invite family members to join in.
  4. Make an exercise plan. To help you stay motivated and on track, prepare a monthly calendar outlining the various types of workouts.
  5. Try something new. Preparing a workout and check the web for different workouts (Barre, Hip Hop, Boxing, Shuffle Dancing).
  6. Workout at the time that’s right for you, whether it’s midday, morning or after work. You can also try going for a walk, run or bike.
  7. Try not to get sidetracked and have workout clothes ready to go!
  8. Keep it interesting and have fun!
  9. It’s important to keep in mind that when it comes to exercise, something is always better than nothing. Just remember to keep moving!
