Public Transit Coming to Caledon – Bolton Line

Posted on Monday October 21, 2019

The Town of Caledon introduces a new local transit line in the Bolton area, starting November 11, 2019. The new “Bolton Line” will include 27 new bus stops along the route with service running during peak commute hours (Monday to Friday, 6 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.).

“I’m thrilled we can offer a local public transit option in the Bolton area, the second transit line announced in 2019” said Mayor Allan Thompson. “This will give residents an environmentally-friendly and cost-effective option to connect them to jobs, education and community”

The introduction of the Bolton Line follows the Town’s launch of a new transit service in Mayfield West on September 3, 2019. The Town will continue to explore additional public transit across Caledon that are cost-effective, environmentally sustainable and convenient for residents as outlined in the Town’s Transit Feasibility Study.

The buses will be operated by Voyago, under contract with the Town of Caledon. To see all bus stops and to learn more about the local transit line in Bolton as well as fares, schedules and timetables, visit: caledon.ca/transit.
