The Town of Caledon is responding to the new provincial policy directions contained in the Provincial Policy Statement, Places to Grow, the Green Belt Plan and must conform with these directions by June 19, 2009.

Caledon’s Official Plan is progressive and have addressed a number of these new provincial policies.  Therefore, Caledon’s PPC review is scoped and proposes to respect & maintain the integrity of the existing Official Plan.

The Caledon Official Plan will be amended to conform to the new provincial direction upon the completion of a number of studies related to the 8 Key Topic Areas.
