The study to review policies for the development
of drive-through service facilities in the Town of Caledon is ongoing and we
require your input to finalize the proposed policies.
On the basis of staff’s review and analyses of issues, consultation with
residents and stakeholders, a review of best practices in other Ontario
communities, draft Official Plan Amendment (OPA) 204 has proposed new
policies to the Town of Caledon Official Plan in order to address issues related
to drive-through service facilities, whether these facilities are stand-alone
or are developed in combination with other uses. The proposed policies
provide directions as to where future facilities may be located and address
issues related to their development in the Town of Caledon.
