The Building Department under the Office
of the CAO provides a compliance letter service addressing building and
by-law matters only. This compliance
letter will contain information on building permits, building violations,
Property Standards orders and zoning by-law violations.

The fee for this service is $64.05 and is
applicable to each property request.
Requests must be made in writing addressed to the Building Department
accompanied by the fee and must contain the full legal description of the
property, municipal address, tax roll number and the current owner’s name.
To streamline the compliance letter process,
the applicant may download and complete the preprinted request form and submit
the form with the payment. Building

All responses will be faxed (where
possible) to the applicant upon completion and the original document will be
mailed to the address provided.
