Municipal Elections are held in every municipality in Ontario every four years on the fourth Monday of October. The next Municipal Election will be held on Monday, October 27, 2010.

The Director of Administration / Town Clerk, Karen Landry is responsible for conducting municipal elections.

The Town is divided into five (5) wards, with wards 3 & 4 combined as one. On Voting Day, qualified electors may vote for the Mayor, Area and Regional Councillors for the ward in which they reside as well as School Board Trustee.
