The Caledon Community Work Plan (CCWP) is a collaborative plan that reflects the ideas of residents, community stakeholders, Council and municipal staff. Key issues were targeted and transformed into workable action items to be accomplished during the four-year term of Council. As such, each actionable item was assigned Council champions, departmental responsibility was designated, and project resource requirements were determined.
Over the 2006-2010 term of Council, the CCWP will play a role in determining the policies and procedures for the municipality. The initiatives outlined also assist the Town of Caledon with the preparation and planning of the annual operating and capital budgets.
Proclaimed in September 2002, The Ontarians with Disabilities Act sets the foundations for establishing a working
plan to improve access and opportunities, for people of all ages with disabilities throughout the entire province.
