Property tax installment payments are due on the first Thursday of March, May, July and September.

- Second installment: Thursday, May 4, 2017
- Third installment: Thursday, July 6, 2017
- Final installment: Thursday, September 7, 2017

Failure to receive a tax bill does not excuse a taxpayer from responsibility for payment nor relieve the taxpayer from liability to pay penalties and interest.

Did you receive a notice of assessment in May 2016 from MPAC?
If so, your deadline to appeal your property assessment for 2017 taxes is September 15, 2016.
The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) offers a free Request for Reconsideration process if you do not agree with your property assessment. For more information, or to file an appeal, please visit www.mpac.ca or contact MPAC at 1.866.296.6722.

Tax Appeal adjustments are available for properties that undergo changes during the year such as a change in property class, property damaged by fire, demolition or a building that is undergoing repairs and renovations. Please contact the tax office at 905.584.2272 x. 7750 for more information.
