Tennis

Volunteer associations operate most Town tennis facilities, available in six communities.  Residents may join these clubs and get involved in lessons, organized events and competitive play.  Or visit one of the public access parks in Caledon.

Public Tennis Court Conditions of Use:

  • Tennis courts are for tennis use only during the tennis season (May - October)
  • Skateboarding, roller-blading and bicycles are prohibited
  • Maximum 30 minutes of play when others are waiting
  • Please use the honour system.  Be courteous to your fellow players
  • Tennis courts are lit until 11:00 p.m.
  • Tennis lessons are available through local tennis clubs.  Please refer to the Tennis Club contacts.
  • To report maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions please call the Parks and Recreation Department at 905.584.2272 x. 4235.

Outdoor Skating Rinks

Ralph's Rink and John's Rink are located at the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness in Bolton.

The rinks are available daily, weather permitting at no charge until 10:00 p.m.

Conditions of Use:

  • Rink may be closed during hours of operation due to weather conditions or maintenance.
  • 16 person maximum on rink at one time.
  • Helmets are recommended for all activities.
  • Slap shots are not permitted.
  • Be respectful of other skaters.
  • Glass bottles are not permitted.
  • Please keep our rink clean, place litter in the garbage cans provided.
  • This rink is unsupervised.  Please use at own risk.
  • Please help us maintain the rink by bringing your own shovel and cleaning the rink before use.

Skateboard Park

The Caledon Skate Park is located at the North Hill Park, adjacent to the Caledon Centre for Recreation and Wellness.

This facility is for your enjoyment, please respect fellow users.

Please report any equipment damages or unsafe conditions or activities to the Parks and Recreation Department at 905.584.2272 x. 4235.

Caledon Skate Park Conditions of Use:

  • Parents/Guardians are responsible for the adequate care, protection and supervision of their child(ren).
  • The Town of Caledon does not assume any liability for any loss, damage or injury to participants or spectators involved in any activities taking place at or near this Skateboard facility.
  • Inspect the park before use to ensure that dangerous conditions do not exist.
  • A CSA approved helmet should be worn.  Additional protective equipment - elbow, knee pads and gloves are recommended.
  • This facility is not to be used before 8:00 a.m. or after sunset or when wet or icy conditions exist.
  • This facility is intended and designed for skateboard use only. 
  • Loud music, which may disturb the users of other facilities in North Hill Park, is prohibited.
  • No glass containers and no metal can or other sharp object should be used for any purpose in the park.
  • Please do not deface or damage your Skate Park.  Place garbage in the containers provided.
  • Skate Park rules are enforced under Parks By-Law # 2007-46.

Splash Pads 

Stay cool this summer!  Visit one of Caledon's splash pads open 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. starting the first week of June until Labor Day weekend.
