Proposed Changes

The applicant has applied for Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment applications to facilitate the creation of 13 estate residential lots, open space blocks, environmental blocks, and a road network. The Zoning By-law Amendment proposes to re-zone the lands from Rural – Oak Ridges Moraine (A2-ORM) and Environmental Policy Area 2 Zone – Oak Ridges Moraine (EPA2-ORM) to appropriate zone categories to facilities the development.

 Appeal Procedure

If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of Council of the Town of Caledon to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Town of Caledon before the Zoning By-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Town of Caledon before the Zoning By-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to add the person or public body as a party.
